How does the procedure work?
The skin is anesthetized with cream before the treatment. The treatment itself takes 15-30 minutes depending on the area. Each treatment is performed using a sterile disposable head with several very thin needles made of surgical steel.
The depth at which the skin is pricked is regulated by a specialist, performing the treatment depending on the area and indications for treatment. For example, on delicate skin around the eyes the depth will be punctured 0.5 mm, while on the area of scars and stretch marks 2 mm. The depth of punctures allows you to precisely determine which layer of skin is being treated.
The skin is punctured at a rate of up to 90 Hz, up to 1000 micro-punctures per second are produced.
The therapy is complemented by cocktails: hyaluronic acid, vitamins, peptides, amino acids, DMAE, organic silicon and others. Then, in order to calm the skin, a regenerative-healing collagen panel can be used
The recovery time after the treatment is short, the irritation can last up to 2 days. Immediately after the treatment avoid the swimming pool, sauna, exercise, hot baths and alcohol. Sunbathing is not recommended for several weeks. The skin should be well moisturized.

Indications for treatment. The procedure is performed on: skin of the face, eyelids, neck, cleavage, abdomen, thighs, buttocks, head.
The device is small, handy, so you can reach it even in hard to reach areas of the body (e.g. around the eyes and mouth).
It is very important that the needles do not contain chromium and nickel, the treatment is also possible in allergy sufferers.
The treatment rebuilds the skin structure, acting from the outside and inside. It stimulates shallow growth factors and fibroblasts and production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.
It improves skin tone, density and elasticity, nourishes and reduces wrinkles, reduces pores and capillaries, gently lifts, eliminates sun discolorations and evens out skin tone (stimulates melanogenesis), eliminates stretch marks and scars (acne, post-burn, post-traumatic, postoperative), improves facial contours, helps to treat alopecia.

The depth of the puncture will be selected after the skin has been examined. Stretch marks are a type of scars that are atrophied. According to the direction of the stretched skin they form skin lesions, which are initially red and then take on a white color. They most often appear on the stomach, breasts, buttocks and thighs. In the initial phase (when stretch marks are red) it is quite easy to get rid of them with the Dermapen device. The use of platelet rich plasma or other active substances can be helpful in therapy. During the procedure anesthesia with cream is performed. Before the treatment, you should be healthy, and a week before, you should not consume aspirin and other blood-thinning medicines. After a few weeks the skin will be renewed, firm and tight. Its structure will be renewed and stretch marks will become shallow or removed. Depending on the size and severity of the stretch marks, a series of treatments may be necessary. The effect after the treatment lasts even several years, and it depends on the type of skin. Depending on the depth and number of wrinkles, the treatment can be performed once or as a series of treatments. The number of treatments and the intervals between them will be determined by the doctor during the first visit. When performing an examination of the condition of the skin and the depth of wrinkles, the doctor may deem it necessary to use hyaluronic acid, platelet rich plasma or other active substances. Is the treatment painful?
The automatic skin pricking function used in Dermapen in Warsaw increases the effectiveness of treatments by increasing the degree of penetration of active substances into the skin, while reducing pain and discomfort to a minimum.
You may feel pain in the area given to the treatment. The frequency and intensity of the perceived discomfort will gradually decrease with each day.
Immediately after the Dermapen treatment you will feel a slight itching and short-term burning. For the next few days you may notice redness and swelling in the treated area. The skin will be slightly painful and tender. This condition is a normal reaction of the body to the treatment, does not require special care and disappears spontaneously.
Hematomatomas may also occur, as after each puncture of the skin.
Dermapen - treatment after treatment
After the dermapen treatment the patient must avoid the sun for six weeks. Right after the treatment, you can return to your daily activities. In order for the skin to regenerate faster, the doctor recommends the use of special cosmetics that are designed to relieve slight swelling of the skin.
Unfortunately, after the treatment, the patient may feel a slight burning, and on the next day the skin may be slightly reddened. The skin may also peel off, so it is important to follow the doctor's recommendations. After a week after the treatment the patient will notice the effects.
In order to make skin changes visible for longer, it is recommended to perform several treatments with dermapen. Ideally two to five. However, it is necessary to keep several weeks between treatments.
